A wall that exists for one day.
Some of our work is meant to last a decade in the sun. This build had the opposite brief: a forty-foot camera-ready wall inside a hotel ballroom, standing by morning, flawless in every photograph, and gone without a trace by midnight. Here is how we build those.
The brief
Ballroom walls aren't built for this.
In July 2026 we were asked to build the stage backdrop for a high-level diplomatic event in a San Francisco hotel — the kind of occasion where every frame of video and every official photograph has the wall in it. A printed banner sags on camera. A pipe-and-drape wall reads exactly like what it is. The brief called for a real wall: rigid, seamless, perfectly matte — in a ballroom where you can't fasten anything to anything.
So we brought the wall with us.
The system
Welded frame. ACM skin. Wallpaper finish.
The frame — welded steel, built in our shop
Not rented truss, not clamped pipe: a steel frame welded in our own shop, engineered to stand free on a ballroom floor and hold a wall dead flat. It bolts together in sections, moves in a truck, and assembles in hours.
The skin — ACM panels
Aluminum composite panels face the frame, turning steel into a rigid, perfectly flat surface with clean seams. This is the same material we trust on building facades — indoors, it gives an event wall the one thing fabric never can: flatness.
The finish — wallpaper-applied graphics
The artwork goes on as wallpaper, applied by hand across the ACM face. No grommets, no wrinkles, no shine — a matte, seamless image that photographs like a painted wall, edge to edge.

The result
By morning, it had always been there.
Forty feet of seamless graphic, square to the room, matte under broadcast light. It stood for the cameras, did its job behind the podium, and was struck the same night — frame unbolted, panels stacked, ballroom returned as found.
Worth knowing
The frame is reusable — and rentable.
The steel frames are ours, and they work for more than one night: stage backdrops, photo walls, press walls, temporary partitions. We fabricate the graphics, deliver, install, and strike — or rent you the frame system for your own event. Sized to your room, not the other way around.
