Method case study — custom wallpaper  ·  interiors, Bay Area  ·  ongoing

The remodel that isn't one.

A tired wall makes a whole business look tired — and a real remodel means contractors, permits, dust, and weeks of lost trade. Custom wallpaper is our shortcut: the same wall, transformed in a day, printed with anything you can imagine. Add dimensional letters on top, and nobody believes construction never happened.

Indicative, not a quote — every wall is different. The shape of the math isn't.

01 — No construction

A new wall, without touching the wall.

Custom wallpaper goes on over the wall you already have. No demolition, no framing, no permits, no dust sheet over the espresso machine. Our installers measure, print, and apply — typically in a day, often before you open or after you close. You lock up one evening and unlock a different room.

02 — A new atmosphere

Paint picks a color. Wallpaper tells a story.

Because every job is custom-printed, the wall can be anything at wall scale: a landscape, a pattern, your brand's world, a mural you designed on a napkin. This is how a dining room becomes cozy, a lobby becomes serious, a market aisle becomes somewhere worth photographing. One surface carries the whole mood of the room.

One wall, whole mood — the room follows the graphic

03 — Walls that sell

The cheapest ad space you own is your wall.

You already pay rent on every square foot of it. Printed with your menu, your story, your bestsellers, or a photo-spot graphic your customers post for free, a wall stops being a background and starts working the room. Outdoor walls do the same job at street scale — a billboard you never pay monthly for.

Brand storytelling — a wall that does the talking

Straight-up advertising — printed at wall scale

04 — The price

A fraction of any other way to change a room.

Against millwork, tile, paneling, or a true remodel, custom wallpaper is not slightly cheaper — it is a different category of spending. That changes how you use it: refresh for a season, re-theme for a new menu, update when the brand updates. When the wall costs this little to change, it never has to look dated again.

05 — The full transformation

Add dimensional letters, and it reads as a remodel.

Here's the move most people don't know: wallpaper sets the scene, and a dimensional sign makes it real. Add halo-lit letters, a logo panel, or sculpted lettering over the printed wall, and the flat surface gains depth, light, and a focal point — the room reads as professionally remodeled, at wallpaper-plus-a-sign cost.

We do both in one visit — the wall and the sign, one crew, one invoice, no general contractor in between.

Change the wall, and you've changed the room.
