The shop opened in Hayward in 2004 with a name rooted in faith — His Signs.
The double-S didn't sit right on the door, so it became Hi Signs — keeping the meaning, adding a second one: aim high.
The initials "HIS" stayed on every invoice.
The shop moved to San Jose — to the address it still occupies today.
Incorporated as D&T Design at first. But "design" wasn't the trade. The work was signs — fabricated, permitted, installed. So the name shortened to D&T Sign.
The "&" is gone. The address is the same. The work is the same. The standards are the same.
